So this has been keeping me rather busy. I finished this page off last night after my boys went down.

Start of my Mini

So I spent a few hours yesterday working on this cute mini. I've completed the cover and put all the papers on the other pages. Let me know what you think so far. I have scraplifted ideas from all over the web so you may have seen similar before.

I've also included a picture of what my craft space currently looks like. Hmm bit of a mess.

PDE Challenge #1

I 've just completed a little card for a challenge over at Janis' blog - Pause Dream Enjoy. It was to do an Artist Trading Card. It had to be 2.5" x 3.5". It was the first time I have done little card and it was heaps of fun. Hope you like it.

Addicted to Blogs

So I think it is now official. I am addicted to reading blogs. I have just spent way too many hours just blog hopping around. To think if I spent as much time crafting as I did surfing I would have a huge amount of projects completed.

Anyways just to let you know I am working on something. I have started my first mini album. I have had to do a bit of research on how to do these things and I am really happy with my progress so far. I will post some pics as I go along I think.

Momo Challenge

I made this card for a challenge for Momo over at http://madebymomo.blogspot.com/2010/05/challenge-3.html

Fortunately I have my little brother's birthday this month. He is turning 17 and I feel like it took ages to do this card. I love the Gem Rocks cuttlbug folder. I think it works really well with the Indie Art Cart. I added a gift card pocket to the inside that was off the Wild Card cart.

Phew...

Well that felt like it took ages getting all my pics up. I am now up to date with my posts. I will now post my new project as they get completed. I have a few in mind. One of which is a mini album for my neighbour. It will be her 40th in a few weeks so lets see how I go getting it done.

Male card

I did this card on Friday for our neighbour. It is kinda hard with men's cards but am glad I picked up some patterned paper that works well for guys. I did the sentiment my self with a layering stamp set. I think it turned out great.

SIL's Birthday Card

This is just a simple card I did for my Sister in Law. I used my cuttlebug and some chalk for the branches. I cut a thin frame out that I made on my Gypsy and used my Stamping cart for the bird.

Brother's birthday Card

May is such a huge month for me with Birthday's. I did this one for my older brother. Not sure if he has received it yet but don't think he follows my blog anyway. I love this circle cuttlebug folder, exclusive to Australia. I tried my hand at little stickers and learnt the trick of using tape to put keep them straight. I learnt this card from a card class I took.

Mother's Day Card

Well I did 3 Mother's day cards but this was the only one I remembered to take a picture of. I copied this one of a you tube vid. I love the bright colours. I used my Mother's Day Cartridge for the sentiment.

Sunshine Lo

I copied this layout from the Everyday Cricut blog. I just loved it and knew I had to scrap-lift it.

I put the date and a couple of little details behind the tag.

Aqua Duck Lo

When we (my family) went down to the Gold Coast for Nathan's Birthday last year (2009) we decided to take a tour on the Aqua Duck. It is a bus that can go in the water. It was heaps of fun and the boys just loved being able to give it a drive.

Love this Chook!

Made this card up from my new "Just Because" Cards cartridge. I just love him. I used a little bit of smooch on his feathers.

Friends Lo

I don't know what it was with this Lay out but I just struggled with it from the start and I'm still not happy with how it turned out. Oh well.

Goose Egg - Rose

I made this little egg and box for the little girl next door for her first birthday. It went with the butterfly card in the last post. This was very fiddly but I just love it. Hope it stays in one piece over the years to come.

My first Tri-Fold card

I challenged my self with this card. I did not use my cricut. I followed a tutorial on Vicki's blog (angel stamper 2) and am really happy with how it turned out. I coloured in the little chipboard butterflies and coated them in gloss.

Easter Kindy Treats

I did 48 of these little easter treat boxes up for all the kids at my boys ABC Kindy. Each one contained 3 little eggs, a balloon and a little yellow chick. They were a hit!

Easter cards

I had planned on making a heap of these to send out but never got around to it. I copied it off a you tube video. I find them really helpful for ideas.

Wedding Card

This is the card I made for my friends wedding. Nathan was away at the time but my sister, Lisa, the boys and I had a blast driving 9 hours down the coast to attend. It was a great road trip.

Congrats on Girl Card

So my brother and his wife found out they are having another girl due in July. I did this little card and envelope just to say congrats.

Niece's First B'Day card

My first Niece's first birthday card. I love how sweet this is. I used my Gypsy on this one to help with flipping the objects.

Valentines Card for DH

I made this card for my DH for Valentines day. I got the idea from the Cricut message boards.

I really love this card. It is a big one and I think Nathan was kinda impressed with it.

My 2nd lay out - yummy candy

I did this lay out 'cause I wanted to show off my family. It was my 2nd lo and I followed a sketch that I found on the internet. I downloaded an e-book that has heaps of sketches in it and have found this to be very helpful.

Card for Friends B'Day

This is a card I made for a friends Birthday. I tried to incorporate some of the things she likes. She has a couple of tattoos and they were my inspiration. She has two stars on her wrists and a set of cherry skulls on her foot. I'm really pleased with how this card turned out. I was trying out a heap of new techniques.

Wedding acceptance.

One of my best friends got married in March so I sent her this acceptance card that I made from the Stretch Your Imagination cart. I was trying to figure out what the score marks might be for (I now know) and thought they may be to put ribbon through. Lol.

B'day cards for my brothers

So I have two (out of 7) brothers with birthdays in February and I made them these cards. They are similar style to the one I made my DH. I had just received my cuttlebug so was giving it a go. I tried out the border sheet and sanded it back to show the white core of the card stock.

Card for Hubby's B'day

This is one of the very first cards that I did. I had just received my Cricut create and was playing around. I kinda like the simplicity of this card and think it works well for a boy card.

Think it might be about time to post some of the cards and lay outs that I have completed in the last few months. As this is only a new blog I will try and post them in order of completion.

Fairy Goose Egg

I made this goose egg for the little girl next door. I gave it to her for Christmas. I also decorated the box. I was really pleased with the outcome of this, although it did take ages to make and I had to be really careful not to break the egg.

First ever Lay out.

This was my first attempt at scrap-booking. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out given I was just stumbling through.

I made these little tree ornaments from some a beading kit. I love the way they turned out.

Just thought I would put up some pictures of some past projects.

I first started doing cards for Christmas in October 2009. Here are a couple that I did.

Scrap-booking Class

So 3 weeks ago I started a class at a local store on "Beginners Scrap-booking". I go once a week for 2 hours (for 4 weeks) and I am learning all the very basics of how to scrap-book. I have to say I am a little bored in the class as I thought it might be a little more advanced than it is. Also I feel like I have paid for 8 hours of brainwashing to buy certain products. The course has been written by EK Success so it really pushes you towards all of their products. Although I have learnt a few new things, I just think that I have wasted my money and more importantly my precious "ME" time.
Oh well, only one week to go, then I think I might try another place for some classes.

This is the start....

of my new blog. I figured since I have started getting into this papercraft hobby of mine, that I had better find a place to post my pictures.

I'm not sure if anyone will ever read or follow my blog but I'm not really bothered, this is for me.
